Cristallini - Luxurious Dresses For A Perfect Night Out

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Since I needed a luxurious head turning dress for my friend's wedding, I did a little googling for a perfect formal gown that won't cost me a fortune so I discovered a brand named Cristallini and placed my order.  As I received my dress, I immediately fell in love with the perfect cut, luxe texture, pretty little details and most importantly how I look in it, so I wanted to order more of these feminine, chic, Swarovski embroidered dresses for all the upcoming formal events in the season of weddings.
What I love the most about my two Cristallini dresses is that every time I put one of them on, I feel like a Hollywood star, it gives me self-confidence to conquer the world, and that's a priceless feeling!
They recently launched their new collection and made me put one of their dresses on my wishlist over again!
I have no idea when and where I'm going to wear it but my motto is "If you think about something all the time, buy it!"
New collection 's lace embroidered dress with sequined embellishments is to die for!

Trending: Blanket Coats

Tuesday, October 14, 2014

Fashion month is behind us and it's time to sum up the impressions: what's hot, what's not, what we will be proudly wearing this Fall/Winter, which items are just a trend of the moment and which ones we will keep in our closets for more than just a season. If you're looking for a piece that will definitely be a statement item, look fashionable with almost anything you're wearing and keep you warm in upcoming cold months, you should consider getting yourself a chic, voluminous blanket coat. Burberry catwalk show from last season showed us blanked-coated girls, led by famous Cara Delevingne, looking oh-so-effortlessly-chic with each girl's initials embroidered on these asymmetrical blanket ponchos and now it's official: blankets are the new coats!
Soon after aforementioned Burberry show, we've seen some very fashionable girls like Olivia Palermo, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Sarah Jessica Parker and others sporting this "must have" item of the year with their own monograms on it.

Ever since "the Burberry blanket coat fever", celebs and fashionistas from all over the globe have been competing who's wearing the blanket coat best, while biggest fashion houses incorporated it in their collections. You can opt out for dark or very light colors for an infallible outfit, or choose vibrant colors like Kate Moss did, and make a bold look. French fashionista Clemence Poesy matched her black blanket coat with mustard and light pink and once again has proven her impeccable taste in fashion.

Russian IT-girl Mira Duma certainly knows how to wear her Lanvin blanket coat with elegance and style.

It's just perfect for you if you need an investment piece that is versatile, looks cool, plus it gives you comfort and warmth. There is just one downside: it requires a bit dressier outfit since it wouldn't look so fab with tracksuits or running sneakers. It comes in a wide range of shapes, colors and textures, so it gives you plenty possibilities how to wear it. You can match it with over the knee boots, both flat and high heeled, and thick winter shorts/skirt for a sexier look, or with blue jeans for a more demure combo.
As both of us most of the time like to look elegant and chic, we will be definitely embracing this trend.

Wardrobe Essentials - Nude Shoes

Sunday, February 12, 2012

Among things you must have in your wardrobe are nude pumps. Why? Because they are one thing you can wear on everything. Again why? Because that's your skin color and your skin goes on everything well.  Therefore it is important that you pick them in color most similar to your natural skin tone which will be no problem as they are available in whole palette from off-white, over pinkish/peach nude to lighter brown.

Most of the girls have black shoes but hey, Nude Is The New Black! And that's an old news!
Whenever you are having doubts on what to wear ... Answer is "nude" ! And there's no mistake with them.

They will calm down your "craziest" outfit, but also point out your favorite one (as you surely don't want someone to look at shoes instead of outfit you were matching for 3h or the dress that makes your body look perfect) .

Spring Must Have: Blazer

Monday, January 16, 2012

Blazer is one of the most versatile items ever! Some of them, for example in nude or black, can be worn with pants or a pencil skirt for work, with denim or shorts for casual outfits and even with an elegant dress for a night out. The best part is that you actually don't have to buy a new blazer, you can borrow it from your mother's, sister's or even boyfriend's closet. Exactly! It's not necessary that it fits you perfectly, unlike other items of wardrobe it's allowed to wear one size or even two sizes bigger blazer for any occasion.

Trend Report: Nude Is The New Black!

Thursday, January 12, 2012

This spring all shades of nude are all over the runways, and although winter is not officially over, we are free to say that nude will be the color of spring 2012. It's really easy to mix & match nude with any color, plus it looks great with a tanned body. Whether you picked cream, apricot, beige, tan, cream pink or caramel shade, it will be easy to pull it off.

Make sure that you picked the right fabrics, not too tight because you don't want to look like you're naked.
Choose gentle materials like silk, chiffon and lace for a girly but sexy look. Leather is allowed only in the form of jacket. Denim and nudes complement each other so if you're a fan of jeans in any color, feel free to match it with nude items for a casual yet sexy look. Even denim jackets look great with it.

Lace was never out of fashion. It looks amazing in every form, whether it's a dress, cardigan or a skirt, and it looks even better with nude. That way you'll look girly and cute, but also sophisticated and sexy.

You can also pick a nude cardigan or sweater for a cozy early spring look. Our suggestion is to wear it with denim and accessories in camel color. Add lots of jewelry for a touch of boho chic.

Nude - white is my personal favorite combination. It's the best choice if you want to look sophisticated and effortlessly chic. Off the runways, we have noticed that celebrities and fashionistas tend to add gold and silver details to the whole outfit. Watches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces: the choice is yours!

Morticia Addams from "Addams family" once said: "Black is such a happy color". Well, in this case, it is.
Black is a great color to match nude with, you already know that you can't go wrong with that! There are countless ways to wear this combination and black helps adding some contrast to your outfit.

Don't be afraid to add some prints to your look. Everything is allowed, from floral patterns for romantic souls to leopards for girls with attitude. Our favorite is definitely Burberry pattern that can be easily pulled off with anything!

Look at Kate Hudson's outfit below: Burberry scarf & beige platform shoes are a perfect touch of nude to a simple white dress and a trench coat.

Inna is rocking her nude leather jacket with leopard print pants.
You're free to play with accessories and fabrics. This girl chose chiffon, lace, leopard print,
and many, many accessories and she pulled it off perfectly!
Kirsten Dunst  looks flawless in a floral print nude dress and beige-black heels.
You can even wear nude with  two different prints, which is impossible with any other color .

Always remember to choose the right  nude color because some of them tend to 'wash out' natural skin color. Pick the one that is 3-4 shades lighter/darker of your skin color.

Other than overwritten, there are absolutely no rules when it comes to this color. Sheer fabrics, sequins, ruffles, feathers, studs, belts, bows, jewelry in any color...It's up to you!
